ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Sia Partners is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior Consultant to work with the Leaders of the US Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice to build and develop the Healthcare and Life Sciences vertical. This position will have the opportunity to help our clients transform their organization through growth and innovation, optimize the patient and healthcare professionals experience, devise strategies and implement tactics to create operational efficiencies, as well as design and build leading edge analytics solutions to enable data drive decisions. This position will be based in the Bay Area and work with the largest pharmaceuticals, MedTech, HealthTech and healthcare companies and organizations in the US. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate and/or lead project workstreams and teams through large and complex transformation initiatives across different functions such as Commercial Operations, Sales and Marketing, Managed Markets, HR, IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and R&D
  • Summarize and present findings to clients
  • Collaborate with engagement teams to deliver high-quality work products
  • Apply strategic and critical thinking to develop recommendations that address client challenges
  • Manage team of resources to ensure deliverables are provided on time, on budget and within scope
  • Conduct research on various healthcare topics and be an activate participant in developing insight articles
  • Participate and/or lead business development and proposal efforts

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate and/or advanced degree from a top academic university (MBA or equivalent) 
  • Advanced degree in medicine, biological/chemical sciences, engineering is a plus
  • 4 to 10 years of management consulting experience working for pharmaceutical, biotech or medical products clients 
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare and / or life sciences industry’s trends, strategy and operating models, and depth in a specific area like Innovation, Digital Health, R&D, Supply Chain, Commercial, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Healthcare Operations and Technology is preferred
  • Ability to manage client relationships and networks, present to senior audiences, and work day-to-day with senior and mid-level clients
  • Ability to multi-task competing priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and/or experience
  • Lead internal corporate initiatives
