Job description

Sia Partners is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior Consultant to help develop our Insurance Service Line within our Risk, Regulatory, and Compliance Business Unit. They will work alongside leadership to build and develop the data analytics and operational efficiencies for our insurance clients. You will have the opportunity to help insurance organizations transform their policy administration, claims management, underwriting, and benefits processing operations and ultimately enhance the customer’s experience. 

Our consultants within the Insurance Service Line possess a depth of knowledge within one or more of the following areas:

Responsibilities

  • Lead major projects and manage relationships with flagship and key accounts
  • Summarize and present findings to project managers and clients
  • Collaborate with engagement team to deliver high-quality work products
  • Apply strategic and critical thinking to develop recommendations that address client challenges
  • Lead business development and proposal efforts
  • Manage team of resources to ensure deliverables are provided on time
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to team
  • Drive sales efforts and lead internal corporate initiatives

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate from an academically rigorous university
  • Advanced degree a plus (MBA or equivalent) 
  • 5+ years of management consulting experience working in business transformation within operations at insurance clients 
  • In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry’s operating models, depth in a specific area like underwriting, policy administration or claims management processes, and/or technology is preferred
  • Ability to manage client relationships and networks, present to senior audiences, and work day-to-day with senior and mid-level clients
  • Ability to multi-task competing priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Senior Manager or Manager will be expected to have business development experience and will be responsible for driving sales efforts and guiding internal corporate initiatives

Hybrid Workplace Guidelines

Sia Partners maintains its hybrid workplace arrangements and provides a flexible workplace environment that is driven by client and business/market needs. While our firm does support hybrid work, there are times that we may require our consultants to work onsite at one of our Sia offices or a client office full-time. Consultants are expected to have the ability to be flexible with work location depending upon business needs. When in-between client engagements, Consultants typically work onsite at a local Sia office 2+ times per week.
