Job description

Our full-time Junior Recruiter will work closely with our talent acquisition team members to act as a brand ambassador for candidates, employees and firm Leadership. The Junior Recruiter will serve as a TA Floater/Generalist as an internal and external brand ambassador, supporting and resulting in the sourcing and recruitment of top talent across all Business Units (BUs) and Lines (BLs). They will be responsible to recruit for both permanent and project-based, contingent hires.

In addition, the Junior Recruiter will have the opportunity to support projects through the talent acquisition lens, including but not limited to: SmartRecruiters (global ATS), Sourcing and initial outreach for executive searches, candidate experience, process improvement, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB), reporting and analytics, and other special projects as needed. 

This is a dynamic position that aligns with the foundations of recruitment with the opportunity to make firm-wide contributions and impact. 

This position will report to our US Talent Acquisition Manager.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Generalist / Floater across TA members to support prioritizing needs, time off, etc. including sourcing, recruiting, scheduling, and Contingent Workforce 

  • Source top talent from management consulting firms using traditional and creative methodologies to attract talent, such as job postings in SmartRecruiters, LinkedIn Recruiter outreach, recruitment marketing, networking events, referrals, etc. 

  • Conduct video and phone interview screens 

  • Manage the candidate lifecycle from sourcing to conversion to hire, including follow-ups, updates, and final decisions (offer or rejection) 

  • Strategize and bring thought leadership and passion to the talent acquisition team 

  • Work with the Talent Acquisition Assistant to schedule timely and efficient interviews  

  • Maintain candidate records in recruiting systems (SmartRecruiters, Google, CRM, etc.)

  • Support DEIB efforts by actively sourcing, networking with, and proactively contacting diverse and underrepresented candidates

  • Work closely with HR to track, monitor, plan and execute upon firm’s recruitment goals from a DEIB perspective 

  • Identify opportunities within SmartRecruiters for improved training, tracking, and reporting that aligns with and supplements current PowerBI reporting as needed

  • Identify gaps within current recruitment processes 

  • Assist with special projects and other recruiting activities as needed  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1 - 4 years of talent acquisition experience within a recruitment agency or executive search firm
  • Proven ability to build relationships with candidates and effectively communicate needs
  • Superb attention to detail and organizational skills  
  • Strong oral and written communication 
  • Ability to work in a quickly changing environment  
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and frequently changing focus  
  • Team oriented and collaborative with the ability to flex in support of the timelines, deliverables of team members  
  • Have expertise with Microsoft Office skills especially Outlook and Word  
  • Experience with Google preferable

Hybrid Workplace Guidelines

Sia Partners maintains its hybrid workplace arrangements and provides a flexible workplace environment that is driven by client and business/market needs. While our firm does support hybrid work, there are times that we may require our consultants to work onsite at one of our Sia offices or a client office full-time. Consultants are expected to have the ability to be flexible with work location depending upon business needs. When in-between client engagements, Consultants typically work onsite at a local Sia office 2+ times per week.
