We are working for a client who is in need of a  Senior Business Process Analyst position is responsible for the support and improvement of the key IT/Business processes within the Renewable Energy industry. This position may have other Business Process Analysts reporting into it. The Business Process Analyst will provide technical and functional expertise in the areas of defining business requirements for improvements, project management of new initiatives and support for these new initiatives.

Project Length: 6+ months 

Location: Remote with some travel to King of Prussia, PA

Responsibilities

  • Develops clear picture of current state processes and gaps to achieve future state
  • Develops business process maps and translates functional requirements to hand over to Technology center teams or contractors to build out system changes.
  • Lead IT Single Point of Contact within a defined business area to drive new initiatives forward between business and IT
  • Leads design reviews, develops recommendations for how to improve or redesign relevant software tools to meet the needs of the company’s process design.
  • Business end user expert in core area of business for client (Finance, Sales and Marketing or Field Operations)
  • Proven ability to build relationships within both business and IT
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for analyzing and evaluating business requirements of varying complexity to determine appropriate technology solution
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet
  • objectives and deadlines

Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of process improvement or related experience
  • Experience in working on legal requirements in the state of California is required
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of renewable energy
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP is preferred)
  • Familiarity with working on large IT footprint
  • Knowledge of processes around setting up a new product in the existing business
  • Good experience in current  core technology centers (BI, Web and Mobility)
  • Led at least 1 large scale implementation of IT solution as either overall PM or IT lead that had a significant impact on that businesses operations
  • Managed a team of at least 1-3 direct reports in past experiences
  • Demonstrated experience to lead teams of requirements analysts to collect, document and progressively elaborate requirements using use-cases; to develop general user requirements, detailed functional requirements and system specifications.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and especially in writing at a professional level and to distill complex technical data to a layperson's understanding with conciseness, clarity, and accuracy.
  • Strong relationship building skills and strong skills in coordination, project management, organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in IT with an emphasis on requirements analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree
