Event Overview

The Global Interdependence Center (GIC) will host a Central Banking Series conference in partnership with the Irish American Business Chamber and Network. The conference will cover a broad range of subjects including Growth and Inflation in the US and EU, Central Bank Digital Currency, digitalization policies, trade interdependencies, policy implications of climate change, and more.

Members of the GIC are also invited to attend a Private Members’ Roundtable Discussion on May 15th at the Iveagh House at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.  

Speakers

The conference will feature a number of global experts in banking and monetary policy including; Gabriel Makhlouf, Governor of the Central Bank of Ireland, and Loretta J. Mester, PhD, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.

Lawrence Vesey, Partner at Sia Partners will also be discussing policy implications of climate change along with Sharon Donnery, Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Ireland.
