Sara joined Sia in 2009, after starting her career at Accenture, where she worked from 2006 to 2008. She completed a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice.
She has developed expertise in payments, cards, digital channels, process re-engineering, and customer journey design, as well as cross-sector experience in organizational and HR transformation with a strong focus on innovation and digitization.
Over the course of her career, she has supported leading European financial services players in large international transformation programs. She also contributed to the creation of the “Payments & Digital Channels” competence center in Italy before being appointed Global Payments Team Leader.
Today, Sara is based in Milan, focusing on payments, digital channels, and leading transformation programs across Europe, leading the development of the Italian banking team across payments, digital channel enhancements and regulatory and compliance new challenges.
She is PMP certified, and she is author of several publication about banking and payments, highlighting the innovation and the transformation in the financial services sector.
