Etienne Ranwez

Etienne joined Sia in 2012, following a career across several consulting and industry roles. He graduated as a Business Engineer from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 2012, and also completed an exchange program at Simon Business School, New York, in 2011. 

He has developed expertise in the banking and insurance sectors, as well as cross-sectorial experience in digital strategy, organizational transformation, regulatory compliance, and applied data science. 

Over the course of his career, he has led 15+ digital strategy and transformation programs across Europe, APAC, and the Middle East, as well as 5+ organizational transformations and post-merger integrations, achieving successful strategy execution and operational alignment through technology-driven solutions and global go-to-market approaches. He also co-designed Sia’s global Digital Benchmarks in Banking & Insurance, which informed several client projects, media interviews, and industry publications. 

Today, Etienne is based in Brussels, focusing on digital transformation, pricing strategy, open and beyond banking, and technology innovation in financial services. 

He is the author of several publications on digital best practices in banking and insurance, and regularly contributes to professional journals and industry reports.
