State-of-the-art forecast algorithms are numerous and can be applied to wind power production. Each of them has their own strengths and weaknesses (general behavior, extrema, or rapid change prediction …). With the expert advice approach, Sia Partners’ Data science team mixed all the individual models to create an optimized meta-model. The resulting algorithm is at least as efficient as the best individual model.
