Optimize an electricity customer’s tariff and visualizing the load curve

Designed to better understand a customer’s electricity consumption, Consoviz allows the customer to visualize their load curve, the factors affecting their consumption, simulate the associated invoice, and optimize network access tariff (TURPE).

How does it work – Using a gradient descent algorithm

The application has multiple features. The first tab allows for an ergonomic view of the load curves. Statistics such as consumption maximum and minimum can be found in another tab for a better understanding of consumption. A simulation of the invoice is also displayed, in order to anticipate expenses. Finally, a tariff optimization tool, based on a gradient descent algorithm, allows the customer to choose the network access tariff that is best suited to their consumption (with the subscribed power close).

The main application of the bot is for pricing optimization. This optimization has been replicated in other assignments (for energy suppliers or consumer companies such Eurovia and Veolia). Other applications, such as invoice or consumption visualization could be valuable as well.
