Job description

From day one, you’ll join the Chicago management team where you will contribute to shaping the future of Sia Partners. Senior Managers have the responsibility of account/client and business development, solution development, hands-on delivery, and oversight of quality delivery and team management. The successful candidate will accelerate Chicago’s Financial Services Agenda, advancing our capabilities in the local market.

Responsibilities

Client Delivery

  • Client delivery will be focused on strategic analysis to transformative execution as part of an on-site project team (some travel may be required)
  • Apply subject matter expertise from a domain, product, functional and/or technical perspective
  • Advise clients on key strategic decisions that impact their business
  • Collaborate with our client’s senior leadership teams to provide status updates and obtain key insights throughout the project
  • Assist in developing thought leadership and building solutions and methods
  • Develop exceptional trusted advisor relationships with our clients
  • Identify opportunities for new business and supporting bid teams with proposals
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality technical offerings
  • Support the practice and our people development

Business Development

  • Leverage local professional network to expand financial services clients in the Chicago Market
  • Drive opportunities to expand client services with relationships built from current engagements
  • Identify new offerings and services based on client needs
  • Close opportunities through participation in RFI and RFP responses
  • Demonstrate domain expertise in sales efforts, including client orals presentations
  • Develop and leverage networks across client organizations and professional bodies
  • Develop and maintain accurate pipeline records and forecasts
  • Develop account plans aligned with Sia’s service offerings
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of competitor strengths and weaknesses
  • Experience in executing under a strategic selling framework

Qualifications

  • Based in Chicago area and available for some travel across east coast
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Business, and/or Management
  • Minimum of 5 years of financial services experience; 3 additional years of consulting experience preferred from a leading consulting firm
  • Bring a professional network that aligns to Sia’s existing and terget client base
  • Demonstrate a track record of quality client delivery and securing business through existing client relationships
  • Act as a supportive team player who actively develops relationships and is eager to share knowledge with colleagues and our clients
  • The ability to learn new subject matter rapidly and a desire to develop a deep understanding of the trends and challenges shaping the financial services industry within a collaborative environment amongst Sia Partners colleagues
  • An ability to transform your domain knowledge and project experiences into published content for Sia Partners Insights
  • Business, Operational, Functional, or specific subject matter expertise within core domains (Front Office, Middle Office, Finance, Risk, Operations, Compliance, or Product)
