Job description

Contract roles are geared toward independent professionals interested in temporary or project-based work.

Sia Title: Independent Contractor

Project Title: RightAngle Integration Developer

Project Length: This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 6 months

Project Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Houston, TX Onsite - Tues-Thurs, remote Fri/Mon

The expected compensation for this contract is $70to $80per hour. The exact pay rate will vary depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to skills, experience, and location.

Key Responsibilities: We are seeking a RightAngle Integration Developer who will configure RightAngle modules, build interfaces and develop could-based solutions in Azure and AWS environments.

  • Right Angle Development - Design, build, test, and deploy Right Angle components, reports, plugins, and customizations using .NET and SQL Server
  • Integration Architecture - Architect and develop enterprise system integrations using middleware platforms, cloud technologies, and industry standard patterns
  • Cloud Solutions - Build and deploy Azure Web Apps, Functions, Logic Apps, and AWS services (Lambda, S3) for integration solutions
  • Data Management - Create data transformation solutions, optimize SQL procedures, and manage database replication across environments
  • System Integration - Build interfaces between Right Angle and external systems while monitoring data flows and integration points
  • Technical Leadership - Provide expertise in discovery workshops, mentor team members, and present solutions to stakeholders
  • Project Management - Lead hybrid implementation projects, track deliverables, create documentation, and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Performance Optimization - Develop custom code, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance across multiple platforms and environments

 

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Core Technical:

  • .NET/C# development with Right Angle components
  • Advanced SQL Server development and optimization
  • Right Angle: Web Integration, Reports, Data Model, Entity Rules
  • Cloud: AWS (Lambda, S3), Azure services
  • Enterprise middleware (SAP PI/PO, BTP, MuleSoft)
  • Data transformation (XSLT, XPath, Groovy) • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Tools & Methods:

  • Development: Visual Studio, VS Code
  • DevOps: GIT, CI/CD pipelines, Jira
  • Reporting: Crystal Reports, SSRS, Tableau
  • SCRUM/Agile methodology

Professional Skills:

  • Integration architecture and design patterns
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and adaptability
  • Self-motivated with ability to context-switch efficiently Industry Experience:
  • Energy, commodities, or financial sectors
  • ETRM/CTRM systems expertise

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • Minimum 7 years' experience working with Right Angle on projects involving design, coding, configuration, and interface development
  • 3+ years of experience developing in Azure environments, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management
  • Business knowledge of 2+ years commodities and experience implementing Right Angle

Office Workplace Guidelines  

Sia is committed to providing a flexible workplace environment that supports client, business, and market needs. Consultants located in our primary market office locations—New York City, Charlotte, Seattle, and San Francisco—are expected to live within a reasonable commuting distance and attend the office at least three days per week. For Consultants outside of our primary markets, we can offer more flexible in-person requirements in accordance with your location.
