Job description

Contract roles are geared toward independent professionals interested in temporary or project-based work.

Sia Title: Project Consultant (Exempt Contractor)

Project Title: Program Manager

Level: Mid-Senior

Project Length: This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 12 months (with potential extension)

Project Hours: 40 Hours Weekly

Location: Hybrid/Seattle, WA (50% on-site) 

The expected compensation for this contract is approximately $175K per year. The exact pay rate will vary depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to skills, experience, and location.

Key Responsibilities: Program Manager must have experience in working with cross-functional teams to document complex requirements in support of technology change initiatives within the global market. 

  • Manage the implementation of technical solutions (ERP solutions, data migrations, infrastructure related projects, network infrastructure, etc.)
  • Work with the IT team and  Business stakeholders in system implementations
  • Translate complex technical concepts in business terms
  • Provide clear, concise and direct narrative and reports
  • Responsible for team management to bring about agreement between divergent points of view
  • Responsible for scheduling, estimating project deliverables and financials
  • Provide expertise with utility methods, techniques and procedures involved in budgeting, procurement and contract administration
  • Effectively arrange resources and manage multiple medium to high complexity projects in a cross-functional environment
  • Provide strong negotiating and critical thinking skills
  • Provide strong leadership skills that can energize a multidisciplinary work team to respond to business needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Masters degree a plus) in Program/Project Management or technical related field
  • 5+ years of proven experience implementing technical solutions (ERP solutions, data migrations, infrastructure related projects, network infrastructure, etc.)
  • Airline experience and SmartSheet experience plus
  • Professional Program/Project Management certification from accredited institution a plus
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to document complex requirements in support of technology change initiatives
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
  • Experience working in high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork environment
  • Strong business relationship management and communication skills
  • Solid Project Management experience
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
  • Experience working with Utility companies is a strong nice to have
  • Must be Customer-oriented, a positive, team-oriented and collaborative attitude, flexibility, an understanding of the business issues driving the need for the project, and solid work ethic are expected
