Job description

Sia Partners is searching for a Migration Manager with financial services background to help our clients deliver successful projects in the Financial Services sector. Successful candidates will ideally possess the following attributes:

  • Experienced Delivery Manager of large global implementation, preferably OMST Charles River or another OMST implementation
  • Experience in utilizing JIRA and Agile SDLC project management methodologies
  • Experience developing an overall migration strategy at the program level which coordinates JHI resources and vendors in a comprehensive plan.
  • Experience in developing Day One communication procedures, email groups, chat groups, support hotlines, go live status calls, and check points
  • Develop Day One escalation and support procedures in coordination with JHI Front Office Services, Operations, Data, Product Support, and Technology teams and external vendors
  • Develop and publish SLA’s with external vendors and tracking mechanisms for monitoring in coordination with vendors and application support groups.
  • Develop Overall training plan for end users in coordination with OMST workstreams
  • Develop Overall training plan for tech users in coordination with OMST workstreams
  • Develop a Day One Data Seeding plan in partnership with the Production Readiness Project Lead and Technical Lead
  • Develop batch runbook plan in partnership with the Production Readiness Project Lead and Technical Lead
  • Develop a Day One User support plan in partnership with the production support teams
  • Develop a Day One Cutover strategy including details such as  Open Trades spanning versions plan, historical data plan
  • Develop a Day One Readiness plan with checklists for each workstream.
  • Develop Day One contingency/rollback plan
  • Develop a Disaster Recovery Plan in coordination with appropriate JHI teams
  • Coordinate Dress Rehearsal go-live testing
  • Coordinate and execute cutover plans on go-live date
  • Coordinate post-go live to ensure user support and adoption
  • Coordinate future phased releases
