Job description

As part of our Business Transformation Business Unit, the AI Transformation & Workforce Enablement lead will help clients turn AI ambition into adoption and ultimately accelerated business results.  You will work with C-level clients and other executives to lead business and  integration workstreams—shaping value-led roadmaps and workforce planning, redesigning structures and ways of working, and enabling leaders and employees with the skills, communications, and change support needed to embed AI into daily operations.

AI Transformation Strategy & Roadmaps

  • Leverage proprietary, industry-aligned business models and innovative operating model designs to deliver impactful AI initiatives. You will be responsible for capability assessments, operating model design, governance, enterprise-wide adoption, and process design, ensuring that AI initiatives align with business strategies and stakeholder needs.
  • Lead client discovery to identify high-value AI opportunities and adoption barriers across functions and roles.
  • Translate client strategy into actionable transformation roadmaps (operating model, governance, process change, workforce impacts, enablement).
  • Build business cases and value hypotheses; define KPIs and benefits-tracking approaches.
  • Design AI use-case intake and prioritization frameworks and facilitate steering decisions with senior stakeholders.

Workforce Enablement & Capability Building

  • Assess workforce readiness and design role-based enablement strategies (executives, people leaders, frontline, functional specialists).
  • Create AI learning journeys (AI literacy, prompt-and-workflow basics, responsible use, role-specific scenarios).
  • Stand up champions networks and communities of practice to scale adoption across the client organization.
  • Support clients in updating job families, role profiles, skills taxonomies, workforce planning and talent practices to reflect AI-era work.

Change Management, Communications & Adoption

  • Own change management for AI programs: stakeholder mapping, change impact assessments, change plans, reinforcement mechanisms.
  • Develop executive narratives and internal communications (why AI, what changes, how we’ll support employees).
  • Design and facilitate client workshops, leadership alignment sessions, and enablement events.
  • Partner with technology teams (client and/or vendor) to ensure releases land effectively in operations.

Drive Growth

  • Originate and grow senior-level client relationships with CHRO, CDAO, C-suite driving AI transformation, and executive leadership teams.
  • Own revenue targets through new business development, executive relationship building and strategic account expansion.
  • Shape and launch market-relevant offerings at the intersection of AI transformation strategy, and sector-specific enterprise transformation, with a clear focus on measurable business impact.

Build Teams and Capability

  • Attract, mentor, and develop top consulting talent, with a focus on executive readiness and delivery excellence.
  • Set clear expectations for quality, collaboration, and accountability across complex, multi-stream engagements.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the firm’s business transformation capabilities and long-term strategy.

Qualifications

  • Currently based in New York with a strong local network of senior executive buyers across industries.
  • 10+ years in consulting with proven experience delivering change, operating model, workforce enablement, or large-scale transformation programs.
  • Experience leading or supporting AI transformation, business enterprise-wide transformation, workforce planning and restructuring, implementation of enterprise wide adoption programs, workflow and automation, analytics, and digital transformation adoption (non-technical capacity is fine).
  • Familiarity with responsible AI concepts and governance (fairness, privacy, transparency, human oversight).
  • Proven ability to lead sales/business development efforts supporting and expanding client relationships and revenue growth
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead sales/business development efforts supporting and expanding existing client relationships and revenue growth.
