Camilo Ramirez

Camilo joined Sia in 2022, after starting his career in consulting and financial services industry. He graduated as an Industrial Engineer in 2011 and a Systems and Computing Engineer in 2010 from Universidad de los Andes. 

He has developed expertise in financial services and asset management, as well as cross-sectorial experience in large-scale transformation, operating model design, and innovation strategy. 

Over the course of his career, he has led end-to-end transformations for asset owners and insurance businesses across 11 markets in APAC, achieving regional integration, operational efficiency, and strategic market entry through simulation-based reengineering and scalable governance frameworks. He has been instrumental in launching a regional asset management company across 6 markets and he has also transformed a GI insurance business operation and underwriting across 8 markets in APAC.  

Today, Camilo is based in Asia Pacific, with a geographic scope including China and Hong Kong SAR, focusing on transformation strategy, operating model design, and cross-market implementation for financial institutions.
