What does it do?

The acceleration of travel opportunities and needs, and therefore accommodation, has expanded the practice of yield management.

This bot is a data visualization tool designed to compare the prices of different luxury hotels around the world.

It provides the user with multiple visualizations that aim to provide useful information about pricing strategies in luxury hotels, as well as tools to understand how these pricing strategies may differ from city to city.

How does it work?

This bot uses web scraping and advanced data visualization techniques

The data displayed is collected daily from around the web. For each type of room in each hotel, the solution searches for a price for a room for 2 persons with arrival dates 3, 7, 10, 20, 35 or 70 days after the extraction date.

In order to visualize the data, the user can, depending on the objective, select a city, then a hotel in the city, then a room in the selected hotel. The graph can also take the date of reservation or arrival as input.

In order to perform multiple analyses involving the comparison of rooms in different hotels, two segmentation methods have been developed to separate rooms based on their price.
