Our team in Asia is facing an exciting growth, and we are looking for passionate consultants or industry practitioners who want to accelerate their careers

We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Financial Services business unit in Hong Kong to provide strategic and operational advisory for our clients.

Position overview:

As a Senior Consultant, you will help to build our expertise and guarantee the quality of delivery to ensure market-leading practices for our Hong Kong office. Given the global nature of our firm, you will support clients from all around the world, typically focusing on Insurance, Financial Markets, Private Banking and Asset & Wealth Management.

You’ll also work with Sia consultants from other offices to leverage on our global network and help clients deliver successful projects.

This will involve:

  • Participation in projects with leading banks and Financial Institutions.
  • Typically work with a team of 2-5 consultants.
  • Contribute to the implementation and execution of clients projects.
  • Develop impactful solutions by analysing data, formulating hypothesis and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Transforming data into meaningful insights and solutions.
  • Ensuring hands on approach to growing the office with emphasis on high standard client delivery, content development and business development.
  • Working closely in a diverse and international environment with our other offices and leverage our global network to take part to cross-selling initiatives and widely share our knowledge.
  • Sharing consulting best practices with the team.

  • Strong knowledge in products and market architecture related to private banking, commercial and investment banking, wealth management or asset servicing.
  • Proven strong Project Management experience and ability to manage complex projects .
  • Ability to drive relevant business decisions, accelerate projects delivery and mitigate, deter and escalate risks and issues efficiently.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • At least a Bachelor or equivalent in Economic, Business, Engineering or Finance.
  • 3-6 years of relevant work experience (those with less experience could be considered for a junior position)
  • Prior experience as a management consultant for banks, and/or is part of middle and back offices.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in performance improvement projects such as outsourcing, collateral management, investment accounting, custody, post-trade processing, and related topics.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese & Mandarin is a must
