Sébastien joined Sia following a career across several leadership and consulting roles in the energy sector, including 11 years in strategy consulting as a partner at Emerton, 5 years as a department head at CRE (French Energy Regulatory Commission), and 9 years in operational roles at major energy players: ENGIE, BP, and EDF, bringing with him over 25 years of experience across regulatory, operational, and strategic domains.
He has developed expertise in the energy sector, as well as cross-sectorial experience in market analysis, strategic positioning, and regulatory affairs.
Over the course of his career, he has supported clients across the full energy value chain—including gas, LNG, biomethane, and electricity—achieving impactful market strategies and optimized commercial models through data-driven analysis, regulatory insights, and sector expertise. His work spans engagements with ENGIE, TotalEnergies, Natran, Terega, OMV Petrom, Hy24, Fluxys, and Gaznat, among others. He is also frequently involved as an expert on litigation projects, including arbitrations, price reviews concerning long-term gas or LNG supply contracts, as well as topics related to regulated business models.
Today, Sébastien is based in France, focusing on energy market strategy, commercial positioning, and regulatory litigation support.
