Cassidy Cantin

Cassidy joined Sia in 2016, following a career in business strategy and funding advisory across the life sciences sector. She holds an MBA from San Diego State University (SDSU) and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Health Care/Social Issues from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). 

She has developed deep expertise in the life sciences industry, as well as cross-sectorial experience in non-dilutive funding strategy, commercialization support, and program management. 

Over the course of her career, Cassidy has helped companies secure more than $2.5 billion in non-dilutive funding since 2020, enabling clients to scale innovation, accelerate product development, and navigate complex funding ecosystems. She brings a unique combination of financial acumen and regulatory insight to support biotech and medtech organizations worldwide. 

Today, Cassidy is based in the United States, operating on a global scale, and serves as an Associate Partner at Sia/LBG, where she focuses on strategic funding, growth enablement, and partnership development. 

She holds a PMP certification, is a former President and Board Member of Women in Bio, and currently serves as Executive Chair of the MCDC Executive Committee, contributing to the advancement of inclusive leadership and life sciences innovation.
