Description du poste
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards in clients' operations and offer recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Evaluate and improve existing policies, procedures, and controls to ensure alignment with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide guidance to clients on designing and implementing transaction monitoring and screening systems for detecting and reporting suspicious activities and sanctioned entities.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including legal, risk management, and technology, to seamlessly integrate controls throughout the organization.
- Deliver reports and recommendations to senior management and regulatory authorities, as required.
- Take charge of mentoring and managing junior consultants, offering guidance and support for their professional growth.
Compétences
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, business, or law. Advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA) preferred.
- Previous working experience (minimum of 1-3 years) from banking or financial services industries or consulting firm.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations, identify risks, and develop practical solutions.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work products.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to diverse audiences.
- Experience with data analytics tools and technologies such as Excel VBA, SQL, Python is a plus.
