This position is primarily open to any candidate from a European country (except Italian citizens) who already has a professional knowledge of the Italian language.
As part of the development of its activities, Sia Partners is seeking a V.I.E. Actuarial Consultant for its office in Milan.
Under the supervision of experienced consultants, you will be involved mainly in the following areas:
Support for transformation to meet new regulatory requirements
Support for mergers between agencies
Digital, Marketing and CRM (definition of multi-channel strategy, optimization of management between web and agency networks)
Change management as part of major projects (introduction of contract management / claims management tools, Place reforms)
Performance improvement and cost reduction
Financial modeling and determination of economic capital within the framework of internal models
Machine learning and statistics: development of explanatory and predictive decision-making models (supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, econometrics, forecasting, quantitative diagnostics, etc.)
Operations research: assistance in the design and implementation of constrained optimization solutions and simulation models.
Big Data: algorithmic knowledge for processing large volumes of unstructured data
As part of the firm's internal activities, you will be involved in the following areas:
Business development by contributing to sales initiatives
Strengthening our offerings by contributing to our Insurance workgroups
Contributing to the development of our publication policy by writing articles for the blog.
Compétences
Master's Degree
Up to 2 years Actuarial/business/analytical experience + 1 or more Casualty Actuarial Society exams complete
Languages spoken: French, Italian and fluent English essential.
ELIGIBILITY FOR THE V.I.E - Any application not meeting these criteria will not be considered.
Anyone over 18 years and under 28 years old at the date of registration is eligible to apply for International Volunteer Service.
The departure for the mission is no later than the day of your 29th birthday. Beyond this date, no exemption is granted.
You must be of either a French or European nationality (a national of a member state of the European Economic Area, which includes the 28 member states of the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein) or Monegasque. As the proposed VIE is based in Italy, Italian citizens are not eligible for this position, in accordance with the provisions of Business France.
You must be in good standing with the national service obligations of the country of which you are a national.
You must have full civil rights and a clear criminal record.
Starting date of the VIE: ASAP
At the end of the VIE, and depending on your wishes and performance, you will be offered to join our local office or our Insurance team in Italy or abroad.
