What You’ll Do

From day one, you’ll join the Houston management team where you will contribute to shaping the future of Sia Partners. As a Client Development Leader managing Sales, Client Coverage, and IP,you will have a key role in sales and strategic offerings. The successful candidate will accelerate our capabilities in the Houston market and identify new local and national clients as well as grow our current client base.

The reporting structure will be dependent on the area of focus (e.g. Digital
Transformation, Finance Transformation, Energy, etc.)
Revenue Targets: Minimum originated revenue of $800k and managed revenue of $1.5+M
Utilization Requirements: Maintain a minimum chargeability of 50%


Business Development

  • Leverage local professional network to expand clients in the Houston Market as well as other markets in Texas
  • Drive opportunities to expand client services with relationships built from current engagements
  • Identify new offerings and services based on client needs
  • Close opportunities through participation in RFI and RFP responses
  • Demonstrate domain expertise in sales efforts, including client orals presentations
  • Develop and leverage networks across client organizations and professional bodies
  • Develop and maintain accurate pipeline records and forecasts
  • Develop account plans aligned with Sia’s service offerings
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of competitor strengths and weaknesses
  • Experience in executing under a strategic selling framework

Client Delivery

  • Client delivery will be focused on strategic analysis to transformative execution as part of a
  • remote and on-site project team (some travel may be required)
  • Apply subject matter expertise from a domain, product, functional and/or technical
  • perspective
  • Advise clients on key strategic decisions that impact their business
  • Collaborate with our client’s senior leadership teams to provide status updates and obtain
  • key insights throughout the project
  • Assist in developing thought leadership and building solutions and methods
  • Develop exceptional trusted advisor relationships with our clients
  • Identify opportunities for new business and supporting bid teams with proposals
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality technical offerings
  • Support the practice and our people development


  • Based in Houston area and available for some travel
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Bring a professional network that aligns to Sia’s existing and target client base
  • Demonstrated track record of business development and delivery of multi-sectoral solutions (e.g., strategy, digital transformation, energy, etc.) to mid to large sized clients. Big 4 experience a plus.
  • Demonstrate a track record of quality client delivery and securing business through existing client relationships
  • Minimum of 10 years of consulting industry experience with a proven track record of business development.
  • Act as a supportive team player who actively develops relationships and is eager to share knowledge with colleagues and our clients
  • The ability to learn new subject matter rapidly and a desire to develop a deep understanding of the trends and challenges shaping the financial services industry within a collaborative environment amongst Sia Partners colleagues
  • An ability to transform your domain knowledge and project experiences into published content for Sia Partners Insights
  • Business, Operational, Functional, or specific subject matter expertise within core domains

Hybrid Workplace Guidelines

Sia Partners maintains its hybrid workplace arrangements and provides a flexible workplace environment that is driven by client and business/market needs. While our firm does support hybrid work, there are times that we may require our consultants to work onsite at one of our Sia offices or a client office full-time. Consultants are expected to have the ability to be flexible with work location depending upon business needs. When in-between client engagements, Consultants typically work onsite at a local Sia office 2+ times per week.
