After several years of significant growth in Asia, we are continuing to expand our business and are now looking for a Manager / Senior Consultant for the CIO Advisory workstream across HK and APAC markets.

Position overview:
As a Manager / Senior Consultant in CIO Advisory, you will play a key role in managing various projects for our major clients in Hong Kong. You will have the opportunity to drive various IT projects, work closely with client’s stakeholders / product owners, and sometimes liaise with their external vendors.
You will spend most of your time managing the delivery of our client’s projects under Agile environment. You will work with their IT functions such as Strategy & Governance / DevOps / Project Management teams to understand the project visions, and align on scope and requirements. You will be supported by the client’s IT developers / Operations / external vendors to deliver the projects. You are expected to provide professional project progression status updates to different level of stakeholders, and effective risks and issues management throughout the engagement.
Outside of client engagements, you will assist the CIO Advisory team on business development: define, develop, and improve CIO Advisory related offerings such as IT Audit, IT Cost Optimization, Data Management, Cloud Readiness & Migration, etc. You will also work with other Sia Partners’ offices across APAC when necessary.

Key responsibilities:
Project Delivery -
- Manage client projects, ensure the project scope and plans has been agreed and communicated
- Manage client’s stakeholders and ensure high quality deliverables
- Conduct professional project management preparation tasks such as build business case, develop roadmaps, conduct initial analysis etc
- Setup and attend to all project cadences to manage and drive for executions, business analysis, issue resolution etc
- Host refinement sessions / workshops to continuously drive the project momentum
- If applicable, liaise with external vendors on project analysis, daily progression, and create project management reports when appropriate
- Manage project assumptions, dependencies, risks, and issues
- Arrange and manage deliverables’ testing and releases
Business Development -
- Assist in the definition, development, and improvement of current CIO Advisory offerings
- Maintain up-to-date industrial knowledge on CIOs latest agenda
- Provide recommendations and suggestions on related initiatives based on the latest market trends
- Assist in produce proposals and other client material
- Work closely with other Sia Partners’ offices and leverage our global network to take part in cross-selling initiatives
- Contribute to the development of the Sia Partners’ brand (publication of articles, blogs, networking, event speaker)
Compétences
Qualifications:
- At least 5 - 8 years’ experience within IT related projects in Consulting / Financial Services
- At least a Bachelor or equivalent in Engineering or Management from top universities / business schools. Master’s degree in Information Systems Management or related subject is highly advantageous
- Languages requirements: A very strong level of English, Cantonese and Mandarin (both on written and spoken)
- Strong experience in Agile methodology
- Strong experience in Atlassian Services (must be experienced in Jira and Confluence usage)
- Solid knowledge and strong experience in DevOps are preferred
- Solid knowledge and strong experience in cloud technologies are preferred
- Strong project management experience
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Strong planning and organizing skill
- Strong communication skill
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
