After several years of significant growth in Asia, we are continuing to expand our business and are now looking for a Manager / Senior Consultant for the CIO Advisory workstream across HK and APAC markets.

Due to our growth in Asia, we are looking for a Consultant to join our ESG team under compliance and risk BU in Hong Kong. As a Consultant, you will help to build our expertise and guarantee the quality of delivery to ensure market-leading practices for our Hong Kong office, taking into account the global nature of our organisation and our clients.

We are currently looking for a Consultant who has understanding and some relevant experience in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or Environmental Social and Governance (ESG). Candidates with the relevant background and with more years of experience can be considered for a Senior Consultant position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in ESG/ sustainability consultancy and reporting projects for private and listed companies across different industries in Asia
  • Assist on sustainability research, benchmarking and market intelligence activities
  • Understand environmental management and strategies and able to deliver corresponding professional consultancy services, including carbon accounting, carbon trading, and carbon emission verification together with the team
  • Conduct regulatory compliance review, internal control review, policies and procedures, risk and compliance advisory and other assessments as per the regulatory requirements, with particular focus on sustainability/CSR/ESG requirements
  • Work closely with different BUs and our other offices and leverage our global network to take part in supporting the managers for cross-selling initiatives and widely share our knowledge

Specific areas of expertise:

Ideally, you would have project experience in one or more of these areas:

  1. ESG reporting or TCFD disclosure
  2. Carbon accounting
  3. Assessment on environmental & social impact, green and sustainable banking
  4. Risk management on market, credit and operational risk
  5. Understanding of regulatory requirements, such as HKMA, SFC and HKEX

As part of the firm's internal activities, your participation revolves around the following areas:

  • Support on training sessions, working groups, internal and external distribution of marketing materials
  • Support in the publication activities (sector blogs, articles, insights, etc.)

Compétences

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University graduate or above in Business, Environmental Studies, Social and Political Science, Finance, Economics, Engineering or other equivalent disciplines
  • Familiarity with ESG standards such as GRI, TCFD, PRI, SASB, GHGP, ISO 14000/ISO14060/14067
  • Experience in green finance & sustainable investment/CSR & ESG assessment and reporting/carbon trading & emission verification
  • Good project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong interpersonal, logical and analytical skills
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with clients and colleagues
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage
