Supported by Augmented & Artificial Intelligence, Automation and Data Science, we empower our clients to make the right decisions at the right time for the right reasons.
We are looking for a talented Data Science expert to support our clients’ activities in Shanghai. You might find yourself working in one or more of the following disciplines to help our clients achieve their aims:
- Machine/Deep learning and statistics- Development of explanatory and predictive models for decision support through the development of algorithms, econometrics, forecasting, quantitative diagnosis, etc.
- Operational research- Assistance in the design and implementation of constrained optimization solutions and simulation models.
- Big Data- Algorithmic knowledge for the processing of large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with our client’s leadership teams, engineers, program managers and data analysts to understand data needs.
- Identify, acquire, process and explore relevant data sources.
- Analyze large amounts of structured and unstructured information to discover trends and patterns.
- Use your data analytics and science expertise to derive valuable insights from datasets, build use cases, predictive models and/or machine-learning algorithms.
- Communicate at scale, through multiple mediums: presentations, dashboards, datasets, bots and more.
- Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams.
- Manage a broad range of projects and deliverables, including models, algorithms, datasets, measurements, services, tools and process.
- Actively contribute to the development of Sia Partners 'assets' and IP including methodology, tools, templates, guidelines and lead initiatives to continuously improve and integrate them with other Sia Partners assets across the Practice.
- Support the development of content and pitches for practice-related opportunities and proposals
- Build and maintain your own external professional peer networks.
Compétences
- Approximately 3-6 years applying Data Science and/or advanced Data Analytics solutions to business problems across a variety of sectors.
- Willingness to take on responsibility on high-value projects with dynamic structures.
- Experience in a Consulting environment.
- Experience with building models, machine-learning, NLP
- Experience in data mining
- Good understanding of statistical techniques and concepts
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Programming skills in R and/or Python. A solid foundation in other scripting or compiled languages may be suitable.
- Know-how on cloud infrastructures and code versioning.
- The ability to adapt rapidly, and work on a range of different business areas within a challenging environment and keeping to tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential
