Job description
Sia’s Wealth & Asset Management team delivers strategic initiatives that unlock significant value within the clients and organizations we support. Our teams navigate evolving market dynamics, regulatory complexity, and rising client expectations. We support clients across the full investment and distribution lifecycle, helping them strengthen operating models, modernize technology and data platforms, enhance risk and compliance frameworks, and deliver more personalized, scalable client experiences.
Our teams bring deep industry expertise across asset managers, wealth managers, private banks, and alternative investment firms, combining strategic insight with hands-on execution. From front-office transformation and product innovation to middle- and back-office optimization.
Responsibilities:

Support practice, thought leadership, and people development activities firmwide

Maintains a deep understanding of business concepts, issues and challenges and key knowledge to master a business expertise

Cultivate knowledge related to a specific business challenge, issue, or deepen understanding within a sector and function domain

Contribute to the development of new solutions in own areas of expertise

Takes a leading role within internal firm knowledge-share activities and organizations, ensuring complete knowledge and competency transfer to other consultants

Help contribute and support Sia’s growing Wealth & Asset Management practice
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree required preferably in a Business or related field (Masters preferred)
-
3+ years of recent client-facing management consulting experience
-
Strong financial service understanding and previous financial service client facing exposure
-
Moderate knowledge and skill in wealth & assets management
-
Knowledge of the full Wealth and/or Asset Management value chain (Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office)
-
Experience in complex transformations or technology implementations in Wealth and/or Asset Management, including business analysis, sourcing model, data model, organizational model, and technical architecture
-
Experience in designing future state operating models in Wealth and/or Asset Management due to various change catalysts (e.g., core platform change, new product, merger/acquisition, start up, cost reduction, outsourcing, globalization)

Specific subject matter expertise regarding transformation and a strong business understanding of Wealth and/or Asset Management products and services

Trained to moderate knowledge and skill in Project Management

Experience supporting the construction of executive presentations

Proven communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Act as a supportive team player who actively develops relationships and is eager to share knowledge with colleagues and our clients

Flexibility in approach and a willingness to adapt quickly and take initiative when working in unstructured environments with limited supervision

Office Workplace Guidelines
Sia is committed to providing a flexible workplace environment that supports client, business, and market needs. Consultants located in our primary market office locations—New York City, Charlotte, Seattle, and San Francisco—are expected to live within a reasonable commuting distance and attend the office at least three days per week. For Consultants outside of our primary markets, we can offer more flexible in-person requirements in accordance with your location.
