Job description

We are currently seeking a Senior Strategy Manager to join our Advisory Team in Ireland. Working with top-tier global companies in across several sectors, including Financial Services, Life Sciences, Energy, Agri, Retail and Utilities.

Complemented by the Sia Partners Consulting 4.0, we offer enhanced consulting capabilities to deliver optimal results for our clients in large-scale programmes and strategic initiatives.

As a Senior Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for,

Leading projects

  • Leading and delivering high quality work on multiple projects across several clients simultaneously
  • Manage all stages of the consulting cycle: assessment, design and implementation.
  • Build effective relationships, manage people, and accomplish challenging goals
  • Serves on consulting engagements, leading delivery in solution design and through subject matter expertise for project sponsors, taking ownership of client deliverables
  • Manages process of scoping, planning, costing, and pricing new projects
  • Managing the financial and budgetary aspects of client projects

Business Development

  • Managing relationships with client stakeholders, seeking to build strong client promoters to build pipeline of future work
  • Creates demand for consulting services in new areas of client organizations through business development efforts, focused on business outcomes
  • Design, develop and deliver innovative new offers and tools to deliver growth with new and existing clients
  • Ability to generate new sales across UK&I and Europe
  • Ability to build compelling business cases which articulate customer propositions, explain the market opportunity and are supported with robust validation

 Practice, Methodology & People Development

  • As a Senior Strategy Manager in our advisory team, you will play a central role in developing innovative business solutions in partnership with C-Suite leaders to transform businesses
  • As a Senior Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for scoping projects, overseeing analysis, and managing the delivery of reports across a range of clients and industries.
  • As a senior team member, you will be expected to take a leadership role, overseeing small teams to produce client deliverables and coaching Senior Associates and Associates.
  • Engage in practice management, development of methodologies, people development and proposals to secure new work.
  • Demonstrating thought leadership through articles, webinars, blogging and other social media

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years+ Management Consulting experience, including experience from a recognised, top-tier consulting in one or more of the following industries: Financial Services, Life Sciences, Energy, Agri, Retail and Utilities.
  • You possess a solid consulting toolkit with polished communication skills and the ability to present compellingly to senior and director level clients
  • Demonstrable track record of both analytical and commercial thinking
  • Prior experience leading teams and clients to identify and deliver new areas of growth in major organisations, or venture/innovation companies.
  • Experience building compelling business cases which articulate customer propositions, explain the market opportunity and are supported with robust validation
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • A desire and ability to solve complex and open-ended client problems
  • A proactive attitude and the ability and desire to take ownership of a problem or deliverable from start to finish
  • Functional experiences in at least 3 of the following: growth & innovation, operating model design, business strategy, lean / six sigma, business transformation, operational excellence, digital transformation, supply chain, manufacturing, proposition design and implementation.

Project Experience

  • Successful track record of analysis and design in solving problems
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative analyses into clear insights
  • Ability to use data, or lean principles to illustrate waste or breakdowns in process
  • Demonstrative ability to assess, structure, plan and deliver well-grounded recommendations
  • Proven business development skills to build and expand the practice
  • Able to lead teams developing strategy, operating models, operational Improvement, piloting new processes, ways of working
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Capable of working in a demanding, deadline driven environment with a focus on details and accuracy
