Job description

As a Senior Manager in Sia Partners Ireland the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects to dedicated clients. 

The projects will be varied in nature: Digital/technology transformation, Business/Change transformation, diagnosis and design projects. 

At the centre of this will be managing the client relationship, ensuring value is realised through the project and developing follow-on business.

The Senior Manager must be a proven leader able to manage a large team. Teams may comprise Sia Partners consultants, contractors, client staff, vendor delivery teams. 

Experience of managing senior stakeholders, mobilising and ensuring project governance and practices.  

The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding and experience of: Consulting; Project Management methodology; Client Relationship Management; Sales support; P&L responsibility; account planning; and team leadership.


Member of the Management team:

  • Responsible for implementing Sia Partners Policies and Practices
  • Manage the delivery of projects to customers and manages the relationship from start through to close down and beyond
  • Work with Practice lead and peers to design, plan and implement new practices and continuous improvement
  • Manage a portfolio of 1-3 projects at any one time
  • Client relationship management, facilitating up-selling and cross selling within existing clients.
  • Ensuring practices are in place that enable the client to recognize the value Sia-Partners deliver
  • Builds relationship  with  client through project delivery
  • Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell
  • Support Partners and Directors in sales i.e. sales support
  • Ensure the Project team deliver value to our clients throughout the project lifecycle from award to close-down
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time and in budget and will be first point of contact for escalations for delivery and people issues
  • Direct ownership for approx. 1-2 projects (depending on size)
  • Collaborate with peers and Head of Practice to ensure effective utilisation of resources
  • Manages and mentors PMs in their team
  • Conduct weekly team meeting to manage portfolio & resolve issues
  • Monitor performance of portfolio on a weekly basis: delivery; quality; P&L
  • Work with other groups to improve communication and performance
  • Apply advanced risk and issue mitigation strategies
  • Apply appropriate change management approaches
  • Ensure the implementation of Sia Partners policies and procedures
  • Recognize, exemplify and adhere to Sia Partners mission, vision and values
  • Travel domestic and/or international


Experience Skills Knowledge

  • 8+ years first-hand Project Management experience
  • Experienced in delivery of technology projects, experienced in the full project life cycle – delivered at least one large scale project
  • Client facing experience, having worked in a Consulting environment.
  • Sales or pre-sales experience.
  • 6+ years in leading teams of 10+ people.
  • The ability to motivate project team members to deliver and take positive action and accountability for their work.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, issue management and resolutions skills.
  • Confidence in self and organization and a “can do” attitude.
  • Rigor and attention to detail.



  • Bachelor's degree in Science or equivalent
